He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Scheetz and Wanda Scheetz (Neff); and his wife Tracy Lynn Evans. He is survived by: his siblings, Vicki Hardy (Jim) and Rex Scheetz (Susan) of Carthage; and his nieces and nephews, Brooke Flesner, Alan Scheetz, Michelle Reynolds and Taylor Hardy.
