She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Scott and Lora Rickert Scott Peterson; her husband Starlie K. Lowman; her daughter Kris Sterne; and her grandson Jonathan Lowman.
She is survived by: her sister JoAnne Harding Gangel of Spring Hill, FL; her children, Ken Lowman of Hamilton, IL, Susan Hanks (Vern) of Heyworth, IL, Michael Lowman (Brenda) of Orlando, FL, Rick Lowman of Murray, KY, Theresa O'Leary (Doug) of Carlsbad, CA and David Lowman (Loretta) of Hamilton, IL; and her grandchildren, Annette Lippel, Lori Argillander, Heather Stevenson, Erik Hanks, Stephanie Gurba, Jennifer Hanks, Kristen Krietemeyer, Michelle Lovell, Sarah Sterne, Kimberly Harmon, Zachary O'Leary, Rickie Lowman and Justin O'Leary. She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren.
She was an avid reader, reading over one hundred books since the pandemic.
