He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Heisler and Vera Elaine Heisler (Hardy); his siblings, Frankie, Don Heisler and Mary Jane Greever; and his cousin Rick Heisler.
He is survived by: his sons, Jason Heisler (Stacy) of North Liberty and Bradley Heisler of Tampa, Florida; and his grandchildren, Shelby, Sadie Heisler of North Liberty, Katlyn Pearce-Chartier (Ean) of Hampton, Virginia and Christine Clark of Palm Bay, Florida.. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bear Creek Township Cemetery Board.
