He was predeceased by: his parents, Olin Howes and Clara Howes (Hoyer); his wife Roberta; and his sisters, Alene Brill and Marge Durbin.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Howes of Hamilton and Rhonda Fischer of Oakwood Hills, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Ryan Howes (Grace), Erin Slosson (Nathaniel), Tyler Fischer (Lauren) and Kendall Fischer (Marielle). He is also survived by three great grandsons; two great granddaughters; and eleven nieces and nephews.
