He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Nelson and Irene Pelliter Nelson; his son-in-law Robert W. Briggs; and his brother Larry Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Carol Nelson of Hamilton; his daughter Michele Briggs of Salem, IA; his grandchildren, Cody Briggs and Ashley Briggs Tadlock; and his pet Buddy.
