It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Evermon (Hamilton, Illinois), born in Revere, Missouri, who passed away on November 7, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett V Evermon and Esther Evermon (Krautz); his daughter Rosaleta Jean "Rosie" Barclay; and his siblings, Vera Mae Shuler, Pearl Gregory, Frances Gregory, Howard Evermon, Viola Davis, George Evermon, Myrtle Jean Evermon, Mabel Wolf, Mary Lipper, Roy Evermon, Betty Fox and Beulah Dobson.
He is survived by: his wife Leta Pence; his daughter Joan Sparrow (Gary) of Hamilton; his granddaughter Cathy Devine (Travis) of Warsaw; his great grandchild Montanna Devine of Warsaw; his son-in-law Edward Barclay of Carthage; and his sisters, Laura Webber (Harold) of Unionville, Missouri and Zola Brammer of Kahoka, Missouri..
