She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vernon Carney and Lucille Carney (Patrick); her husband Bill Kays; her sons, William Keith Kays (Michelle) and Robert Kevin Kays (Chanda); her grandchildren, Justin Ray, Kathryn Marie Kays, William Clayton Kays (Colie), Ashley Marie Trahan (Alcee), Brittany Lynn Gambill (James) and Christopher Kolt Kays (Skye); and her siblings, Vernon Patrick Carney, Darlean Garrett and Patricia Burris. She was also cherished by nine great-grandchildren.
