She is survived by: her sisters, Willa Simpson, Annabelle Pope, Yvonne Holliday and Maria Davis; her children, Jonathan Darren Sherrod, Jennifer Sherrod Thompson, Raymond Douglas Sherrod and Jacqueline Regina Gwinn; and her siblings, Willia Simpson, Jamilah El-Amin (Aretha) and Henry Seber Reed. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, close friends, sisters, and brothers.
