It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen E. Whelan in Gurnee, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 11, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her siblings, Mary Tuegel (late John) and Sandi Sanford (Sandy); and her parents, Gladys M. Whelan and Edward L. Whelan. She was also cherished by loving aunt and great aunt to her nieces and nephews.
