She is survived by: her husband Steven Schmidt; her children, Carl (Terri), Mike (Jean) and Marianne (Rich); her grandchildren, Carrie, Marie, Valerie, Matthew, Jeff, Jake and Brooke; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Christian, Aaron, Luke and Steele; and her sisters, Marga Groell, Gertrud Lauerer, Thea Muller and Francisca Mangold.
