It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Slaymaker of Greenview, Illinois, born in Morrison, Illinois, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delbert Slaymaker and Pearle Slaymaker (Graham); his sister Jane Ann Slaymaker; his brother-in-law Kenneth Venhuizen; and his niece Virginia Ann Venhuizen.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy Venhuizen of Morrison; his niece Kim King; and his nephew Tom Venhuizen (Amy) of Morrison. He is also survived by three great nieces, a great nephew and seven great-great nieces and nephews.
