With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael L. Lawhon (Godfrey, Illinois), born in Saint Joseph, Missouri, who passed away on November 16, 2019 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy "Norman" and Beverly Lawhon (Jeffers); and his sister Linda Harter. He is survived by: his wife Mary Dee Johnson May.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Lung Association.
