He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Vincent and Elizabeth Nolan (Fessler); his wife Eleanor Ann Joehl; his son Gregory Nolan; and his siblings, Frieda Grady, Catherine Vandyegriff, Mary Ann Barrett, Herman Nolan, Leo Nolan and James Nolan.
He is survived by: his children, Lloyd Nolan of Creve Coeur, MO, Donna Nolan of Jerseyville, IL, Margaret Gay of Wildwood, MO, Les Nolan (Patti) of Crestwood, Darrell Nolan (Jean) of Ballwin, MO and Bruce Nolan (Traci) of O'Fallon, IL; and his grandchildren, Kate Nolan, Samuel Abutair, Amanda Nolan, Melissa Epperson, Rachel Nolan, James Gay and Brennan Nolan.
Memorials may be made to Arms of Love, St. Ambrose Catholic Church, or Samaritan's Purse.
