He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelia Taylor and Clarence Leroy Cloninger; his spouse Shirley Sue Radcliffe; his stepfather Elbert Tedrick; his brothers, Dwayne and Glen; and his children, Gregory and Nancy.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathryn; his son-in-law John Theen of O'Fallon, IL; and his grandchildren, Alicia Stalcup of O'Fallon, Jeremy Stalcup (Irene) of Norfolk, VA, Christopher Stalcup (Rachael) of Bethalto, Jeffrey Cloninger (Laura) of East Alton, Brian Cloninger (Amanda) of Bethalto, Kyle Walker (Tamara) of Kearney, MO and Ryan Theen (Jama) of Collinsville. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, visitation and funeral services will, unfortunately, be restricted to family only.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church.
