He was predeceased by: his father William Armstrong; and his brother George Armstrong. He is survived by: his mother Grace Armstrong (Catalano); his wife Sharon Armstrong; his sons, Darrin Mersinger, Jim Mersinger (Jennifer) and Gary Mersinger (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Ashton, Aubrie, Maddy, Mason, Morgan, Abby and Micah; and his siblings, Frank Armstrong and Jo Ann Armstrong. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
