She was predeceased by: her parents, John Spurlock and Virgie Spurlock (Johnson); her husband Leo Pyles; her son Lloyd Peete; and her siblings, Irene, Bernice, J. W., Dee and Wayman.
She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Spurlock of Belleville, IL, Joann Mathenia (Keith) of Granite City, IL, Imogene Johnson of Oregon and Mayola Lynn (George) of Indiana. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews; extended family and friends.
Memorial donations may be given to Granite City A.P.A. Donations will be accepted at the funeral chapel.
