She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Alvis and Mabel Alvis (Sledge); her husband Edward H. Holshouser; and her brother Dennis Alvis. She is survived by: her children, Leigh Ann (Jim Acra), David (Gina Blumenstock), Brad (Laura Blumenstock) and Deana (Jim Strack); her grandchildren, Justin, Jessica, Lucas, Megan, Riley, Samuel, Austin, Molly, Hilda and Josephine; her great grandchildren, Amelia and Lavinia; her brother Jerry; and her sister-in-law Tina Alvis of Prescott, Arizona. She is also survived by other extended family and friends.
