With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Kobler of Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 19, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Peter and Erin Rose Kobler (Leddy); his daughter Margaret Mary Kobler (Peggy); and his brother George Kobler. He is survived by: his wife Maureen Woods; and his sons, James E. Kobler, Jr. (Kathie) of Buffalo Grove, IL, John Kobler (Barbara) of Palatine, IL, Martin Kobler (Roxanne) of Arlington Heights, IL, Paul Kobler (Alison) of Perrysburg, OH, Joseph Kobler of Glen Carbon, IL, Tim Kobler (Chrissy) of Buffalo Grove, IL and Bill Kobler (Emily) of Troy, IL. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and many nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Vitas Hospice or for Masses at St. Cecilia Catholic Church.
