It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris M. Widdows in Glen Carbon, Illinois, born in Caseyville, Illinois, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Mizee and Elva Mizee; her husband James R. Widdows; her siblings, Robert Mizee and Lois Fellhauer; and her sons-in-law, Rupert Greeling and David Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Carolyn Greeling, Janet Smith (Brad), Valerie Durley-Eilering (Richard) and Gail Smith (Fred Rosen); her grandchildren, Kris Flesher (Mark), Heather Meiner (Brandon), Brad Widdows (Stacy Swalley), Nicole Slazinik (Jeff), Rachel Losacco (Mike) and Rebecca Eilering (Ben Leffler); and her great grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler Flesher, Kayleigh, Bradley Widdows, Jr., Madison Meiner, Will, Mia Slazinik and Connor Losacco.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Caseyville United Methodist Church will be appreciated.
