He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Frederick A. Behrens (Ted) and Mary Behrens (Haddad); his niece Krista Schaefer; his uncles, Carl Behrens (Harriet), Alfred (Irene) and Alex Haddad (Margaret); and his aunt Vanita Haddad.
He is survived by: his sister Pamela 'Pam Schaefer of Hillsboro; his nieces, Janeen Griewing (Mike) of Edwardsville and Danelle Bartels (Buddy) of Mahomet; his nephew Thomas 'Tommy' Justison (Ashley) of Hillsboro; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Marinne, Estella Bartels, Kameron Bartels, Brayden and Eastyn Griewing.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, Wounded Warrior Project, or a charity of the donor's choice in honor of Ted's passions.
