It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Paul Gibbons of Gillespie, Illinois, who passed away on March 7, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gibbons and Ann Gibbons of Gillespie; his former wife Shirley; his grandchildren, Melissa and Ashley Wenzel; and his uncle Secondo Ferrari.
He is survived by: his children, Frank, Shirley, Linda Haddad (Steve) of Troy, IL, Connie Wenzel (John) of Benld, IL, Carol Marciukaitis (John) of Gillespie, IL, Gail, Brian Gibbons of Clearwater, FL, John Gibbons of Fort Myers, FL and Lisa Broom (Jeff) of Carlinville, IL; and his great grandchild Richard Sereg of Gillespie.
