With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald Joseph Liesen of Geneva, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 19, 2021 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gerald Joseph Liesen to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Liesen and Isabella Liesen (Heuel); and his sisters, Vircelle Ambler and Marjorie Plowman. He is survived by: his wife Mary (Ihnacak); his children, Dr. Ken (Jeanne) of St. Charles, Gregory (Sharon) of Virginia, Dr. Larry (Melissa) of Campton Hills and Karen Delwiche (Dean) of Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Paul, Erik, Abby, Katy, Amanda Sgro (Connor), Andrew, Sam, Jack Liesen, Peter, Rachel and Angela Delwiche. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19, visitation will be private at Malone Funeral Home in Geneva.

In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Peter Catholic Church 1891 Kaneville Rd. Geneva 60134 would be appreciated.
