It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Hillen Carlson of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on August 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hillen and Martha Hillen (Jewell); and her sisters, Jewell Borstel, Genevieve Hiett and Joan Beasley.
She is survived by: her spouse Dean Carlson; her children, Linda Nelson (John), Charles Carlson (Crash), Gordon Carlson (Lish) and Bob Carlson (Cathy); her grandchildren, Nick, Andria, Jesse, Erica, Patrik and Danielle; and her great grandchildren, Tyler, David, Landon, Riley, Abrienda, Cameron, Payton, Bryson and Braxton.
Memorials may be given to the family to create a memorial fund.
