Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Suzanne Louise Main (Galesburg, Illinois), who passed away at the age of 82, on November 6, 2023. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Peterson and Aletha Peterson (Burhorn); her brother Kenneth Peterson; and her son Mark Main. She is survived by: her husband Gary Main of Altona, IL; her children, Carla Gibbons (Andy) of Altona, IL, Rodger Main (Marcy) of Ames, IA and Luke Main (Jennifer) of Peoria, IL; and her grandchildren, Ella Gibbons, Annabeth Roberts (Max), Charlie Gibbons, Gracie Gibbons, IdaMae Gibbons, Natalya Main, Vladimir Main, Emmett Main and Monroe Main.

Memorials may be made to the Altona Historical Society whose proceeds will be used to support the efforts currently underway to renovate the 2nd floor of the Ransom Public Library in Altona into a museum and event center or to the Altona Ransom Public Library itself.
