He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde D. Norris and Joyce E. Norris (Rigs); his granddaughters, Felicity, Kaylee and Serenity; his sister Vera Macky; his wife Anita M. Carothers; his son John Norris-Carothers; and his brother Clyde Norris, Jr..

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
