He was predeceased by: his mother Rosemary Horaney (Tederman); and his siblings, Joe and Patty Horaney. He is survived by: his father Robert W. Horaney of Columbus; his wife Dawn Rochelle Sparling; his daughters, Lori Horaney of Galesburg and Amy Blanchard (Joseph) of Mascoutah; his sister Mary Jo Porter (Richard) of Champaign; and his cousin Jim Jackson (Susan) of Parkertown, NJ.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Knights of Columbus to benefit the mentally handicapped drive.
