With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James William Nalley Sr. (Galesburg, Illinois), who passed away on August 30, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney "Dock" Thomas and Cattie Nalley (Lucas); and his siblings, Franklin and Viona Miles. He is survived by: his wife Aggie; his children, James Nalley Jr. (Patricia) of Galesburg, Jeff Nalley of Monmouth, Diane Nalley of Galesburg, Kelley Cruz of Galesburg and Tina Walker (Donald) of Wylie, Texas; and his brother-in-law Don Adcox. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions, in his name, may be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
