He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Edgar and Ethel Juanita Smith (Roberts); and his son Joshua Rash. He is survived by: his former spouse Karna Goehl; his children, Levi Smith of Galesburg, Missy Young (Jeff) of Galesburg and Sara Giardina (Frank) of Buffalo Grove, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jonah, Olivia "Ace", Anara, Durst and Briar; his brothers, Alan Smith (Debbie) of Galesburg and Rodger Smith (Sharon) of Kennesaw, Georgia; and his girlfriend Jo Ellen Waymoth of Galesburg.
