It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Grace Katherine Nickas (Galesburg, Illinois), who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nickas and Grace Jeannette Nickas (McCulloch); her brothers, George Christo Nickas (June), David Nickas and Anthony Nickas; her nephew Marvin Lee Anthony Masters; and her great-nephews, Clinton Lee Anthony Masters and Michael Lee Anthony Masters.
She is survived by: her sister Helen Masters (Marvin) of Galesburg; her sister-in-law Brenda Nickas of Knoxville; her nieces and nephews, Kathleen Klinefelter (Dave), Holly Fox (Patrick), Angela Masters, Gregory Wiley, Susan Heynen and Jeffrey Nickas (Ginger); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Emily Ellis (Clayton), McKenzie Magne (Eric), Tabitha Vick (Austin), Ashley Masters, Josie Osmani (Montey), Jason Sterling, Nicholas Sterling (Jyll), Timothy Klinefelter (Natalie) and Taylor Fox (Jessica); her cousin Margaret Wright; and her close friends, Jerry and Barb Lieber. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
