He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar A. Burnett and Bernice Burnett (Kelly); and his siblings, Edgar, Jack, William, Kevin and Dottie Cook.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Burnett of East Galesburg; his siblings, Kent Burnett (Sara) of Etoile, TX and Sandy Dyer of Flower Mound, TX; his grandchildren, Beau and Amanda; his great grandchildren, Alycea, Vanessa, Haleigh, Audrey and Johnnie; and his great great grandchild Nevie.
Memorials may be directed to the University of Chicago Medicine and Biological Sciences program to aid in organ transplantation.
