It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine L. Gilbert of Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on March 8, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Jay E. Bates and Marianne J. Bates (Alstedt) of Galesburg; her husband Timothy Gilbert; her siblings, Joyce Link (Todd) of Alexis, John Bates (Brandie) of Ponder, TX and Patrick Bates of Galesburg; her nieces, Brianna Link of Washington, IA and Mia Bates of Ponder, TX; and her nephew Jay W. Bates (US Army).
Memorials may be given to the Christine L. Gilbert Memorial Fund and sent to the funeral home.
