He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. Harrison and Delia Harrison (Hurt); his spouse Beverly Durbin; and his siblings, Jim Harrison, Eddie Harrison and Audrey Sandall.

He is survived by: his children, James "Jim" Harrison (Nikki) of Galesburg and Julie Maltese (Mark) of Carol Stream, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Alexander Maltese, Chase and Bayleigh Harrison.

Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Association.
