She was predeceased by: her spouse Archie H. Purcell; her son Peter Purcell; and her siblings, Edward, Durwood, William, Elwood and Marilyn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Polly Brecht of Galesburg, Priscilla Helton (Phil) of Sellersburg and Paige Purcell of Monmouth, Illinois; her niece Linda Jones; her grandchildren, Gretchen, Jason, Gabrielle, Danielle, Cheyenne, Emily, Holly, Sara, Mary, Rebekah, Rachel, Nate, Joey, David and Abby; and her sister Linda Jones of Alma, Illinois.. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
The family requests any donations be made in Arlene's memory to a charity of the donor's choosing.
