He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Hoefle and Shirley Hoefle (Read); his siblings-in-law, Kenneth and Geraldine Gustafson; his brother Thomas (Gloria); his nephew Brandon Hoefle; and his siblings-in-law, James Gustafson, Martha Gustafson (Bunchman) and Nancy Gustafson Patterson.
He is survived by: his daughter Meredith Muller (Richard); his grandchildren, Scott Ryan, Jessica Mae, Katherine Carole and Calvin George; his wife Carole Gustafson; his brother Mike; and his sister-in-law Lynn (Henry). He is also survived by his 11 nieces and nephews and 28 great nieces and nephews and one great-great niece.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for the American Heart Association in Terry's memory.
