She was predeceased by: her parents, Harlen Merkel and Virginia Merkel (Eacker); her siblings, Bradley Paul and Sharon Kay; and her son Tom Jr..

She is survived by: her sons, Mike Hockman (Bobbi) and Marty Hockman (Jolene); and her daughter-in-law Andrea Pociecha. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren plus 1 special niece and 3 special nephews.
