She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd LaVerne Wescott and Saima Wilhelmina Saario. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Robert Garrow; and her daughters, Debra Garrow Purdue (Jessie), Karen Homan (Frederick), Diane Garrow and Susan Dietmeier. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
A memorial fund will be established in her name, benefiting awareness of mental illness.
