It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dolores Lorraine Szumlas (Fox Lake, Illinois), who passed away on August 4, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Joseph; her son Rick; her sister Marian Obajtek; her parents, Albert Melcic and Stella Melcic (Wojcik); her children, Mark Szumlas, Michael Szumlas (Susan), Karen Burt (Kevin) and Kathy Olson; and her grandchildren, Daniel (Brittany), Eric, Michelle (Kyle), Kristine (Matthew), Emily (Jacob), Samantha (Joseph), Caitlin, Amie (Stephen), Ryan and Ryker. She was also cherished by Many great-grandchildren, two brothers in law, a sister in law, and several nieces and nephews.
