She was predeceased by: her parents, Verdie Vail and Bessie Vail (Strange); her husband James Brinkley Jr.; her daughter Glenda Brinkley; her granddaughter Elizabeth Brinkley; and her siblings, Freda Wheeler, Verna Williams, Mary Lagle, Doris Hillebrand, Luceil Holcomb, Pearl Wheeler, Wiley and Ed Vail.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Brinkley of Benton, KY, Janet Bricker (Roy) of Flora, Doug Brinkley (Violet) of Enid, OK, Dianna Cricelli (Frank) of Pocahontas, Kent Brinkley (Donna) of Flora, Maureen Tolliver (Alan) of Flora and Sam Brinkley of Riverside, CA; her grandchildren, Tim Brinkley (Tina) of Benton, KY, John Brinkley (Tammy) of Calvert City, KY, Jeannie Mitchell (Benny) of Benton, KY, Angie Tolliver (Tom) of Fort Wayne, IN, Leroy Martin (Kelly) of Flora, Kelly Conard (Roy) of Flora, Kris Snell (Kory) of Flora, Michael Brinkley (Jennie) of Enid, OK, Brandon Brinkley (Laura) of Alva, OK, Dominic "Nick" Cricelli of Highland, Nathan Cricelli of Highland, Cathy Taylor (Carl) of Flora, Josh Brinkley (Stevi) of Flora, Michelle Conrad (Joe) of Flora, Ashley Jones (Nathan) of Xenia, Amber Brinkley of Riverside, CA and James Brinkley of Riverside; and her sisters, Rajean Connell (Hunter) of Flora and Fran Hilderbrand of Louisville. She is also survived by 60 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations are suggested to Operation Christmas Star or Flora Academic Foundation and will be accepted through the funeral home.
