We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2021, at the age of 83, Shelby Cook of Flora, Illinois, born in Harrington, Delaware passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shelby Cook to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Mary Yowell (Laramore); her children, Mike Anderson and Cathy Sexton; and her brother William Yowell (Margaret).

She is survived by: her husband Richard Cook of Flora; her sons, Joe Anderson (Karen) of Flora and Richard Cook Jr. (Lesa) of Flora; her children-in-law, Linda Anderson of Pennsylvania and Ron Sexton of Flora; and her sister Rose Yarbro of Clayton, Delaware.. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations are suggested to Bloom Baptist Church and will be accepted through the funeral home.
