It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Jones of Flora, Illinois, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Briscoe and Brooksy Briscoe; and her brothers, James Briscoe (Dode), Charles Briscoe (Wheezer), Rex Briscoe and Bob Briscoe (Satch).
She is survived by: her former husband Cecil Edward Jones; her husband Cec; her daughters, JoAnne Corry (Grady), Jennifer Hettiger (Frank) of Flora and Jacque Durr (Harry) of Vandalia; her grandchildren, Nicolas Corry (Whitney) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jessica Reeder (Chester) of Effingham, Laura Hettiger (Mark) of St. Louis and Ashley Brooks (Matthew) of Louisville; and her great grandchildren, Will, Mary Alice, Kristen, Kate and Cecilia. She is also survived by her daughter, niece and countless friends.
At the request of the family, please plan on wearing a face mask if attending the visitation or ceremony.
