It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lucille Ellen Tarpley of Flora, Illinois, born in Effingham, Illinois, who passed away on April 27, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James McWhorter and Thelma McWhorter (Campton); her husband Charles E. Tarpley; her former husband Kenneth Dane; her grandson Bryce Dane; and her siblings, Jim McWhorter, Lonnie McWhorter, Billy McWhorter, Larry McWhorter, Jerry McWhorter and Eda Cook.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Dane (Brenda) of Clay City, Loretta Jones (Rob) of Salem, Diana Sessions (Steve) of Bible Grove and Tim Dane (Shelly) of Knoxville; her stepdaughters, Lisa Sulkin (Steven) of Vernon Hills and Linda Otto of Libertyville; her grandchildren, Jami, Marissa, Ethan and Cheyenne; her siblings, Cleta Colclasure of Farina, Leona Butts of Michigan and Leroy Campton of Funkhouser; and her sister-in-law Della Ann Deain of Flora. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Lucille's memory may be made to the Community Southern Baptist Church, and will be accepted through the funeral home.
