It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jim Jones of Flora, Illinois, born in Carlyle, Illinois, who passed away on July 10, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Jones and Florence Jones (Huene); his daughter Tracy Hunt; his son-in-law Jesse Storm; and his siblings, Sharon Smith and Jerry Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Jones of Flora; his children, Vicky Storm of Mason, Sue Jones of Bloomington, James David Jones (Brandi) of Effingham and Jeff Jones (Shelley) of Lawrenceville; his stepchildren, Eric (Heather), Sheryl (John), Jennifer (Matt) and Cathy; and his siblings, Jack Jones (Sharon) of New Athens, Donna Gross (Pete) of Lake Havasu, Joe Jones (Linda) of Flora and Ed Jones of Flora. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial donations are preferred to either Clay County Animal Rescue & Shelter or Fur a Good Paws and will be accepted through the funeral home.
