He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Nicholson (Dottie) of Xenia and Susan Sanders (Hilliard) of Newton; his son Braden Nicholson of Claremont; his brother John Nicholson (Carla) of Iuka; his nephews, Kyle Nicholson of Des Plaines and Trevor Nicholson of Charleston; his uncle Mark Hilliard (Debbie) of Flora; and his close friends, Rick and Trish McGrew.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Braden Nicholson to help with educational expenses.
