The memory of Brenda Thompson of Flora, Illinois, who passed away on February 18, 2025 at the age of 72, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orse M. "Mink" Wyman and Helen L. Wyman (Higgason); her husband James D. Thompson; and her brother-in-law Willie Thompson. She is survived by: her daughters, Randi Thompson of Cropsey and Jami Lewis (Eric) of Bible Grove; her grandchildren, Blake Thompson (Emily Robertson), Sierra Buffington, Chloe Lewis and Colin Lewis; her great grandchild Carter Thompson; her sister Marion Wyman of Kingston, Tennessee; her siblings-in-law, Bob Thompson (Ruth), Dave Thompson (Linda) and Sandra Thompson; and her friends, Les and Stacy Higgason. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Frank & Bright Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Flora, IL 62839). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations are suggested to Fur A Good Paws in Flora and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
