He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur C. Harbold and Mildred E. Harbold (Widrig); and his brothers, John Harbold and Steven Harbold. He is survived by: his wife Beverly J. Harbold of Farina; his sons, William Daniel Harbold (Tina Julian) of Clay County and Brian Robert Harbold (Natashia) of Louisville; and his grandchildren, Joshua Harbold, Brianna Harbold, Reannon Harbold, Megan Harbold and Wolfgang Harbold.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
