She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hoke Hoyle and Florence Hoyle (Hoffman); her husband Luther E. Lacey; her son William Lacey; and her siblings, Gene Hoyle, Delsia Beasley, Agnes Stelmar, Ann Randall, Norma Grace Hoyle, Eva Taylor and Hazel Hoyle.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Ann Rothe of Altamont and Joyce Quandt (Richard) of Effingham; her grandchildren, Lori May (Mike), Jeni Meyer (Chris), Christopher Quandt (Nikki), Jason Quandt (Sherri Ford), Jill Quandt and Justin Lacey; and her siblings, Rex Hoyle (Evelyn) of St. Jacob and Lela Matthews (Herbert) of Pana. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
In Shirley's honor, memorial donations may be made to the Friedens United Church of Christ in Farina or to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 411 and will be accepted by the Sutherland-Rankin Funeral Home at 310 North Broadway Salem, IL 62881 (618) 548-1234, entrusted with the family's care.
