With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. Doran (Fairbury, Illinois), born in Piper City, Illinois, who passed away on January 6, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lloyd Doran and Frances Doran (Smith); his wife Roberta Nickrent; his children, Julie Sinnett (Kenny) of Forrest, Matt Doran (Jill McCulloh) of Saybrook and Mark Doran (Becky Ott) of Gibson City; and his siblings, Michael "Mick" Doran (Georgia) of Forrest and Marilyn Weidner of Eureka. He was also cherished by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Team Gage, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or Forrest American Legion.
