He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Holmes and Lela Moffett Holmes. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Lindenbaum; and his sister Marge Black of Clearmont, FL.

Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury.
