He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Wells and Adeline Wells; and his grandson Alexander James Wakey. He is survived by: his wife Winnie Joann Newkirk; and his children, Diana Ramsey (Mike) of Fairbury, Karen Jackson (Warren) of Fairbury, Dennis Wells (Dawn) of Lincoln, IL, Marsha Taylor (David) of Fairbury and Nancy Wells of Strawn. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter.
