She was predeceased by: her parents, August Howler and Marie Howler (Szczesniak); her husband Ronald Hornsby, Sr.; her daughter Debra Marie Holzhauer; her grandson George Wesley Hornsby; and her brothers, Walter Howler and James Cassier.
She is survived by: her children, Dolores Hornsby, George Hornsby (Tina) of Waukesha, WI, Dina Hornsby of El Paso, Dawn Hornsby of El Paso, Ronald Hornsby II (Terry) of El Paso and James Hornsby (Kalene) of El Paso; her son-in-law Rodney Holzhauer; her cousin Barbara "Bobbie" Cortino of Romeoville; and her grandchildren, Staci Thomas, Desirae Hornsby, Taylor, Kailey, Jaiden, Anthony Hornsby, Amber Hornsby, Cheyenne Bose (Greg), Jordin Hornickel (Tim), Jacqueline Aguinaga (Albert), Cortney Decker (Jake), Jack, Sophie and Ellie Hornsby.
The family suggests memorials be given to the Ovarian Cancer Coalition, Illinois, 1436 W. Randolph Ste 201, Chicago, IL 60607.
